QSR magazine reports ten fast food restaurant trends predicted for 2013. One of the primary trends is that ‘going local’ is seen as a positive attribute. More fast foods are now using locally grown ingredients. Another trend is creating healthier kids meals. Many fast food chains are now offering fruit instead of cookies or sweets and downsizing the amount of fries on the kid’s meal. These are just two of the ten trends predicted for 2013.
